The population of Amritsar City is increasing day by day. Vehicles used by the people are also increasing, which leads to more traffic on the roads. Amritsar as a Holy City is also a famous tourist destination. Apart from the vehicles of residents of Amritsar City, the Amritsar Traffic Police has to manage large number of tourist vehicles also. We are aware of the problems which citizens of Amritsar and Tourists come across while using vehicles on the Roads of Amritsar.

Amritsar Traffic Police is making continuous efforts for ensuring smooth and unhindered traffic flow, prosecuting traffic offenders and educating general public at large. Traffic Police cannot succeed without the active involvement and participation of citizens of Amritsar.
